DESCRIPTION:A prayer service those who have suffered the loss of a child\, from the beginning of pregnancy onwards\, together with those who wish to come in love and support\, to have time in quiet surroundings to fully recognise their loss and help with healing. DESCRIPTION:The Rite of Election is the final stage for those being received into the Catholic Church at Easter. \nThe candidates and catechumens express their sincere and earnest desire to take full part in the Church’s sacramental life\, confirmed by their godparents and sponsors. Also present will be many of the catechists from across the Archdiocese who will have been teaching them the Catholic faith. \nThey will become Catholics at Easter Vigil Masses across the Archdiocese on Saturday 19 April. Please keep each of the candidates and catechumens in your prayers.

The event will provide inspiration and encouragement for young Catholics across the Archdiocese. \nThe day will take place on Saturday 15th March 2025 at St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Church\, Hope Street\, Falkirk. Register here. \nIt is just a short walk from the Grahamstown train station and there is a bus stops outside Asda\, opposite the Church. There is free parking available at the hall. \nAll groups should meet in the hall where the majority of events will take place. Mass will be celebrated in St Francis Xavier’s Church by Archbishop Cushley at 2pm. \nThe day will run between 11am and 3pm.
