DESCRIPTION:This year’s conference will feature two keynote inputs\, as well as time for supported reflection and discussion in breakout rooms. Register here. \nKeynote 1: Matthew McVarish\, award-winning human rights activist and survivor of childhood sexual abuse. \nKeynote 2: Lucy Faithfull Foundation staff will offer practical advice on ‘Responding to low-level concerns’. \nBreakout session will offer participants opportunities to obtain and share practical advice on various aspects of Safeguarding. \nThe event is titled Journeying in Hope: Transforming the Safeguarding Culture of the Church and is for all who have a Safeguarding role in Catholic Church settings in Scotland. \nIt takes place on Saturday 8 November 2025\, from 10:00am to 3:50pm at the University of Strathclyde Technology & Innovation Centre\, 99 George Street\, Glasgow G1 1RD. \nYou can attend in-person or online. Conference Fee: £45 \n
