SUMMARY:SPRED Commissioning Mass
DESCRIPTION:The annual SPRED Commissioning Mass takes place at 7:00pm on Thursday 18 September in St Kentigern’s Church\, 26-28 Parkgrove Avenue\, Edinburgh\, EH4 7QR. \nArchbishop Cushley will be the principal celebrant.  He will bless catechists as well as the books that will be used to lead sessions to share God’s word over the next year. \nSPRED (Special Religious Development) is a parish-based programme that catechises children and adults with learning disabilities. \nIt has groups in Bannockburn\, Dunfermline\, Dunbar\, Edinburgh\, Falkirk\, Livingston and Rosewell. \nThe SPRED co-ordinator for the Archdiocese is Sr Mary Benedicta Maier RSM\, srmary.benedicta@staned.org.uk | 0131 370 0017.
