Archbishop Leo Cushley would like to invite the young adults of the Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh to join him for a series of talks during Lent, to be given by himself and beginning this Sunday, entitled “On the Way: Walking with Jesus and His Disciples towards Jerusalem”.
“There are many disciples, men and woman, who have accompanied Him with their lives and with their deaths throughout history,” said the Archbishop, 4 March.
“And so I want to be able to examine one or two of these very interesting people to learn from them, from their courage, from the way they lived, the way they died.”
The talks will take place on Sunday 10 March, Sunday 24 March and Sunday 7 April from 5pm to 7pm at the Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1BB.
The evening will consist of a talk by the Archbishop, Q&A, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction and Confession, and will conclude with social time and pizza.
“It always turns out to be great fun and I always look forward to these opportunities,” said the Archbishop. All are very welcome.
