The management of Mount Vernon Cemetery would like to thank everybody for their understanding and patience whilst the cemetery was closed over last weekend. Normal hours are now resumed. 8.30am till 3pm. Gates close at 3 pm for vehicles.

Please note that roadworks are scheduled to commence on 1 October 2018 and will be completed by 15 October 2018. Pedestrians access through the side gate will remain open during this time but management asks that you please avoid the areas where roadworks are taking place and, also, please take care. If you need assistance then please ask one of our cemetery operatives who will be only too pleased to help.

There will be no vehicular access between 1 October 2018 and 15 October 2018. Once road repairs are complete vehicular access will be restricted to those officiating on cemetery business and blue badge holders only or by special arrangement by contacting the Cemetery Manager on 0131 623 8906.
