This Thursday, 24 January, will see a new pro-life group launched in the parish of Our Lady & St Andrew in the Scottish Borders. The inaugural meeting will take place at 6.30pm in the parish house next to the church of Our Lady & St Andrew in Galashiels when the guest speaker will be Paul Atkin, Pro-Life Officer for the Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh. All are very welcome.
“Since being appointed as Archdiocesan Pro-life Officer by Archbishop Cushley in May of last year, it’s been very heartening to witness a new flourishing of pro-life activity across the parishes of the Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh,” said Paul Atkin, 21 January.
“I am really looking forward to meeting with all those from our parish in Galashiels, Melrose and Selkirk who want to help build a new culture of life in the Scottish Borders, a culture that upholds the dignity of every human person and, by dint, a culture that promotes the common good of us all.”
