Couples mark UK Marriage Week with social media shout-outs!
Married people have given a social media shout-out to their partner to help mark UK Marriage Week 2020.
We asked our Facebook followers to tell us how long they have been married and to tag/mention the person they are married to. And we got a great response.

They included Patricia Schofield who posted: "Graham and I celebrated our 49th Wedding Anniversary on 8th May - both Baptised, First Communion, Confirmation and Married in St Joseph's, Bonnybridge."
Tom Nagle wrote: Anne and I were married by Father Joe McMullan in Bathgate St.Marys on July Sixth 1973. The best decision I ever made."

Mary Hutchison wrote: "19 years ago Miss Mary Murphy became Mrs Hutchison we where marriage in St Patrick's in the Cowgate, Edinburgh, on the last Saturday of the Edinburgh Festival!"
The comments followed Father Jeremy Milne's video message calling for couples to pray together to help deepen their love for each other and for God (below).
He said: "This is a fantastic response, it's great to see so many couples in our Archdiocese help mark UK Marriage Week, be a witness for marriage and also give a mention to their partner on Facebook!
"Remember you can visit marriage-week.org.uk for prayer resources, testimonials, articles and more."
