We invite you to explore the power of the sacraments in a new series of talks hosted by the Archdiocese.

The first talk is titled Fire & Water, and covers Confirmation and Baptism. Sr Anna Marie McGuan, our Catechetics Advisor, leads the 45 minute session and is encouraging Catholics across the Archdiocese to take part.

She said: "It's a new year and this a great opportunity to renew our understanding of the sacraments. The sacraments of the Catholic Church are central to our life of Faith and in the talk I hope to help people better understand their power.

"The grace of Baptism is completed in Confirmation, and the gift of the Holy Spirit is given so that you can be a mature witness to your Faith.

"This talk will also be helpful to parents whose children are being prepared for baptism or confirmation."
