DESCRIPTION:In this Jubilee Year of Hope 2025\, join us for the annual St Margaret’s Pilgrimage in Dunfermline. \nWe celebrate the life and legacy\, virtue and holiness of St Margaret\, who lived in Scotland’s ancient capital. \nThe highlight of the day is the procession at 2:00pm to St Margaret’s Church\, led by Archbishop Cushley with the relic of St Margaret. Holy Mass is in the Church at 3:00pm (schedule below). \nThis is an ideal opportunity to take a pilgrimage in Scotland in the Holy Year 2025 particularly if you cannot make it to Rome\, Lourdes or any other site of pilgrimage. \nSchedule\n12:00pm: Angelus at St Margaret’s Cave\, Chalmers Street Car Park\, KY12 8DQ. \n1:00pm: Prayer Service at St Margaret’s tomb at Dunfermline Abbey\, St Margaret Street\, KY12 7PE. \n2:00pm: Procession from Louise Carnegie Memorial Gateway\, Bridge Street (opp Seven Kings Pub)\, to St Margaret’s Memorial Church (Meet at 1:45pm). \n3:00pm: Mass at St Margaret’s Memorial Church\,East Port\, celebrated by Archbishop Cushley and priests of the Archdicoese and beyond.

SUMMARY:Caritas\, Justice & Peace Mass
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Mass\, hosted by the Caritas\, Justice & Peace Commission takes place at St Margaret’s Church\, Dunfermline at 7:00pm on Wednesday 2 April. \nThe principal celebrant will be Canon Brian Gowans\, who is the Vicar Episcopal for Caritas\, Justice & Peace in the Archdiocese. \nWe welcome Fr Tom Magill\, of Motherwell Diocese\, who will preach. \nThere will be light refreshments after Mass. All welcome. \nAbout the The Caritas\, Justice and Peace Commission \nThe Caritas\, Justice and Peace Commission of the Archdiocese consists of several lay volunteers under the direction of the Vicar Episcopal Canon Brian Gowans. The commission meets around five times a year online or in person and includes representatives of various Catholic organisations such as Stella Maris\, Pax Christi Scotland\, The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP) as well as members active in their own parish Justice and Peace groups.
