Christian Aid Book Sale

Edinburgh New Town Church hosts the annual Christian Aid Book Sale from 09-15 May.
A team of stalwarts and people from various Christian denominations are organising this sale that has taken place every year for the past five decades, all in celebration of Christian Aid Week which takes place every May.
Last year, they raised over £56,000 and are hoping to raise a lot of money this time round, too.
The event will sell a range of books varying from theology, politics and culture to biographies, sports and science. It will also feature a whole Christian section.
Anyone going to the book sale will have the opportunity to grab a hot drink at on-site cafe.
From Monday 27 April, the donation of books and other items will be welcomed by the team. The organisers are also looking for people who are able to assist in pricing theology books.
The Christian Aid Book Sale will be held at Edinburgh New Town Church, 13 George Street, and can be attended from 12pm-6pm from 9-15 May (closed Monday 11 May). Title photo by Julia Forsyth.
