Holy Mass at Melrose Abbey

This year marks the 890th anniversary of the foundation of Melrose Abbey, one of Scotland’s most treasured Christian sites.
Celebrate this remarkable milestone in the Christian heritage of the Scottish Borders with the celebration of Holy Mass within the historic abbey ruins.
It takes place on Friday, 21 August 2026 at 6:00pm. Attendance is limited to 350 people, so booking is essential (free event).
