Red Wednesday Mass

Archbishop Leo Cushley will celebrate Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh, to mark Red Wednesday, an annual initiative organised by Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) to raise awareness of Christians who suffer persecution and discrimination because of their faith.

Red Wednesday is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians around the world and to pray for those who face violence, oppression and hardship because of their beliefs.

All are welcome to attend the Mass and join in prayer for persecuted Christians and religious freedom around the world.
