A special Mass for people with additional support needs and their families and carers takes place in Edinburgh this Sunday (11 October).
In the below video, Sister Mary Benedicta Maier RSM invites families from across the Archdiocese to come along and be part of this new initiative.
The Mass takes place at 2:00pm in the Chapel of St Albert the Great, George Square Lane, Edinburgh, and will be celebrated by Fr Jamie McMorrin (Parish Priest at St Margaret’s in Davidson’s Mains).
The entrance to the chapel is on George Square Lane, at the back of George Square.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to the nearby SPRED Centre for tea, coffee and biscuits, with an opportunity for families and carers to meet and get to know one another.
The Mass is the first of a new series which will take place quarterly. No registration is required and all are welcome.
