Archbishop Cushley said: “When we look at the Diploma of Catechetics, it is a wish on our part to help you to be the faithful disciples of Jesus of Nazareth, that we are all called to be.”

Course leader Sr Miriam Ruth Ryan RSM said: “Your course began in the Year of Hope, and that was our theme for the year.

“Each one of you made a great act of hope in deciding to do the Diploma, to pay attention to God more.
“It’s great news that you made that act of hope and persevered with the course.

“I believe you know more about our Faith now, and I hope that you love more too, as one of the fruits of love is wisdom.”
