Archbishop Cushley has announced the following clergy moves:
▪ Mgr Philip Kerr (currently at St Mary Magdalene’s, Glenrothes) to become Parish Priest of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, North Berwick and Our Lady of the Waves, Dunbar.
▪ Rev Isaac Oshoma (currently at Our Lady Immaculate & St Margaret, Duns) to become Administrator of St Mary Magdalene’s, Glenrothes, Leslie and Falkland.
▪ Rev Emmanuel Nlebedum SMMM (currently at St Teresa’s Craigmillar) to become Administrator of Our Lady Immaculate & St Margaret, Duns, with the care of St Andrew’s Church, Eyemouth.
These moves become canonically effective on 18 July 2026.
Also:
â–Ş Canon Patrick Boylan of St Alexander’s, Denny, to retire from the active ministry.
▪ Rev Nicky Welsh to become Parish Priest of St Alexander’s Denny and St Luke’s Banknock, and coordinating RC chaplain in Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
These become canonically effective on 5 September 2026.
