Pupils from across the Archdiocese who joined us at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh yesterday for the Caritas Commissioning Service.
Archbishop Leo Cushley commissioned the young people as they begin their Caritas year, encouraging them to be witnesses to their faith and to serve God and others in their homes, schools and parishes.
The Pope Benedict XVI Caritas Award encourages thosetheir final year of school to put their faith into action through service to others in their school, parish and wider community.
