Archbishop Cushley has paid warm tribute to Mary Buchan and Lord James Drummond Young KC as they conclude nine years of service as Trustees of the Archdiocese.
It marks the end of a period of commitment and expertise given generously in support of the Church.
Archbishop Cushley said: “Mary and James have given nine years of faithful, thoughtful and highly skilled service to the Archdiocese.
“Their professionalism, wisdom and quiet dedication have strengthened our governance and supported the mission of the Church in ways that will be felt for many years to come.
“I am profoundly grateful to them both.”
The Archdiocese extends its thanks to them both for their service and assures them of its prayers as they step back from their formal trustee roles.
We welcome Stephen Webster (below) as a new member of the Board of Trustees & Finance Committee.
He brings over 30 years’ experience in senior leadership across investment management, banking, and the charitable sector.
Stephen is non-executive chair at Isle of Barra distillers as well as Commissioner/Non Executive Director for the Crofting Commission.
He is married with three grown up children and divides his time between Barra and Edinburgh, where he is a parishioner at St John the Baptist, Corstorphine.
