Edinburgh Seven Hills Pilgrimage

Starting at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral York Place at 8:45am with the Pilgrimage beginning at 9:00am. Meet at the front steps.

Following the success of the 2025 Lenten Seven Hills Pilgrimage, the Cathedral brings you a new journey with a familiar route. The walk will be led spiritually by Fr Jeremy, with a dedicated reflection at each peak. 

The Seven Hills of Edinburgh is approximately 26km, taking in Castle Hill, Costorphine Hill, Criaglochart Hill, Braid Hill, Blackford Hill, Arthur’s Seat, Calton Hill.

The journey is expected to last around 10 Hours. The route is close to various major bus routes, so whether you want to join them on the route or journey home after part way, this is entirely your pilgrimage. Bring walking gear and food to keep you going, and dress for the weather.
