The Gillis Centre complex in Edinburgh has today (Monday 14 September) been formally placed on the market for sale.

The Archdiocese announced in April that the site at 100 Strathearn Road would be sold following a review of its buildings, their maintenance requirements and the future needs of the Archdiocese.

Since then, preparations have been taking place to bring the property to market. The site is now being marketed by property consultants Graham + Sibbald.

The sale process is expected to take time. The Gillis Centre, which is the administrative centre of the Archdiocese, remains open and continues to operate as normal while the sale process is ongoing, with Archdiocesan administration and scheduled events continuing at the site.
