A brilliant daily Bible resource for families with young children is being supported by Archbishop Cushley during the Covid19 lockdown.

Aid to the Church in Need Scotland (ACN) is posting a chapter a day from its Bible 'God Speaks to his Children' along with a reflection from a range of Catholic voices and a suggested activity. It's part of the ACN Child's Bible Project, launched this week.

Today (Tuesday) Archbishop Cushley reads and reflects on Chapter 2 of the Book of Genesis (see below. Full video at bottom).

Lorraine McMahon, from ACN Scotland, said: "These daily resources will, we hope, be helpful to all those working to teach children from home during the Covid-19 lockdown and will also be useful in primary classrooms once schools have reopened."

God Speaks to his Children contains 99 chapters of paraphrased stories from the Old and New Testaments. It was first produced in 1979 and the charity has distributed more than 50 million copies to children all over the world.

ACN is a Pontifical Foundation of the Catholic Church, supporting the Catholic faithful and other Christians where they are persecuted, oppressed or in pastoral need.
