Congratulations to Fr Basil Clark who has completed his 100km sponsored walk of the Camino de Santiago!
He arrived at Santiago Cathedral on Sunday (10 May), finishing his seven-day pilgrimage of 200,000 steps.

Fr Basil has raised more than ÂŁ5,000 for the parish roof at Our Lady of Loretto & St Michael in Musselburgh and has posted daily updates on the Parish Facebook page.
He said: “After miles of walking, early mornings, aching feet, prayer, laughter, silence and countless moments of grace along the way, the cathedral finally came into view.
“This journey has never been walked alone.

“Every prayer offered, every message of encouragement, every donation and every shared post has travelled these roads too.
“Thank you for walking this Camino with me in spirit and helping make this pilgrimage one of purpose as well as faith.” Â
Funds will go to roof replacement, structural timber repair, and weatherproofing. He also hopes to share funds for Mary’s Meals and the local St Vincent de Paul group in Tranent (at St Martin of Tours’ Parish).
