On the first Sunday of the liturgical year, we celebrate the beginning of Advent.
What does Advent mean? It means “coming”. We are preparing for the birth of the baby Jesus on Christmas Day, which is now just four weeks away!

A Jesse Tree is a way of preparing for Advent by journeying through the stories on Jesus's family tree. Every day in Advent a different symbol should be added to remember someone in Jesus' family.
