Discussing the Gospel

In this week's gospel (Matthew 13: 24-43) Jesus tells parables, including that of the mustard seed.

If possible:

• Have some mustard seeds (or a picture of mustard seeds and a picture of a mustard tree).
• You could have some flour and yeast available to show the children. If you are able and you like to bake you could get the children to help youbake some bread during the week before Sunday and then see if they remember what the tiny amount of yeast did to the flour!
