With Microsoft Publisher being retired in October this year, many parishes are looking for a simple, effective way to create their weekly newsletter.
The Archdiocese is hosting a demo event on Zoom to highlight Canva, a free and easy-to-use design tool that can help you produce professional-looking materials in minutes. It takes place on Saturday 11 July at 10:00am.
In this live online workshop, we’ll walk through the basics step by step, including:
- How to access and set up Canva
- Demo of creating your parish newsletter
- Editing text, images, and layouts
- Saving, downloading, and reusing your designsÂ
This is a demonstration-style session hosted by Matthew Meade, our Director of Communications, so you can watch and learn at your own pace.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, and a recording will be made available afterwards.
