Archbishop Cushley welcomed headteachers from across the Archdiocese today (Tuesday 24 May) to discuss faith and education in Catholic schools.
Topics covered included equality & inclusion, discipleship and developing in the Catholic faith.
Archbishop Leo said: "I was delighted to meet Headteachers from across the Archdiocese today. Thank you for helping bring our young people to know and love the Lord, and the faith."
Sr Anna Marie McGuan RSM, the catechetical adviser for the Archdiocese, gave a presentation on The Journey of Discipleship and Mass was celebrated at St Margaret's Chapel by Fr Robert Afayori, Vicar Episcopal for Education in the Archdiocese.
The event was organised by Margaret Barton and Melissa Gavan, the education team for the Archdiocese, to update teachers on the latest issues and themes affecting Catholic primary and secondary schools.
