Cardinal Mario Grech was the keynote speaker at an online event organised by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland on Saturday.
Cardinal Grech is Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops. Pope Francis has asked him to work with him in helping the Catholic church along a more synodal path, guided by the Holy Spirit, making him a key figure in the process.
The event, titled Synodality in the Life & Mission of the Church, featured Dr Sara Parvis, Fr Guy Mansini OSB, Sr Catherine J Droste OP and Dr Ed Morgan QC.
Also taking part was Archbishop Cushley and Sr Anna Marie RSM, the Archdiocese’s Catechetics Advisor.
